Four bedrooms upstairs sleep 8 persons, and lower level apartment with 5th bedroom and sofa bed sleeps 4 more. All the furnishings are new and of good quality. Windows have retractable shutters for privacy.

On the entrance level is the spacious entryway, guest bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and large living room with fireplace. The kitchen is well-equipped (including microwave, raclette, fondue, rice cooker, kettle, Nespresso machine, milk foamer.) From the kitchen and living room you have direct access to the large private patio with a beautiful view of Lake Brienz and surrounding mountains! Enjoy the garden table, 2 sun loungers, as well as the covered seating area with the corner bench and the outdoor fireplace.

4 large bedrooms are on the upper floor. 1 bathroom with shower, toilet and sink is accessible to all. The other bathroom with corner bath, shower, toilet and 2 washbasins is accessed thru one of the bedrooms with King bed. The downstairs apartment is easily connected by an internal staircase. It has the fifth bedroom with king bed and living room with queen sofa bed.

The washing machine and dryer are in the basement.

On request: 2 foldable baby beds for toddlers up to 3 years old, 2 high chairs.

Guest access

The entire house is exclusively for your use.

We recommend to park 1 car along the hedge, 3 cars in line along the house.

Other things to note

Walking time from Brienz train and ferry station about 16 minutes. The path via Feldstrasse has the easiest, most gradual incline with an elevation gain of about 35 meters or 115 feet.

From train stop Brienz West: 12 minutes

As the last part is steep uphill, you might want to take a taxi on your arrival day. A ride for 4 persons and their luggage costs about CHF 30

The next grocery store is Migros. 5 min walking downhill, at main street.

Coop, another grocery store, is located next to Brienz train station.

Along main street you will find more stores and traditional Swiss restaurants, many with seating along the lake.
